　　4. They can be fun, but I’m tooscared to watch them alone.

　　too…to…意為“太……而不能”。它在結構形式上是肯定的，但意義上卻表示否定含義，所以動(dòng)詞不定式符號to前不能再加not，只接動(dòng)詞原形即可，too后接形容詞或副詞原形。例如：

　　The book is too difficult to understand. 這本書(shū)難于理解。

　�。�1）含too…to…的句子可以改寫(xiě)成“so…that…”句型，意為“如此……以至于……”。例如：

　　He is too old to do hard work.

　　= He is so old that he can’t do hardwork.

　　他年紀太大而不能干重活。

　�。�2）含too…to…的句子也可以用“not … enough to do sth.”句型來(lái)替換，但注意要用原句中形容詞或副詞的反義詞。例如：

　　He is too old to do hard work.

　　= He is not young enough to do hard work.

　　他年紀大了，不能干重活。

　　5. …but was one of the most moving…

　　one of后接形容詞最高級及名詞復數，意為“最……之一”。

　　Chang jiang river is one of the longest rivers in the world.

　　長(cháng)江是世界上最長(cháng)的河流之一。

　　【拓展】

　�。�1）one of the +復數名詞+定語(yǔ)從句中，定語(yǔ)從句中的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞跟定語(yǔ)從句所靠近的那個(gè)復數名詞保持一致，通常用復數。

　　This is one of the books that are required for study at school.

　　這是學(xué)校里要求學(xué)生學(xué)習的書(shū)籍之一。

　�。�2）如果one of the +復數名詞的前面有the only之類(lèi)的限定語(yǔ)，后面定語(yǔ)從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞則要用單數形式。

　　He is the only one of the teachers who knows French in our school.

　　他是我校教師中唯一懂得法語(yǔ)的人。
