　�。�1）especially表示“特別地”，用于修飾形容詞或副詞，強調程度。有時(shí)也修飾動(dòng)詞。例如：

　　It is especially cold today. 今天特別冷。

　　We are especially busy today. 我們今天特別忙。

　　I’m feeling especially tired this evening. 今天晚上我特別累。

　　I especially want to see that film. 我特別想看那部電影。

　�。�2）用于強調目的，意為“特意、專(zhuān)門(mén)”，通常與表目的的不定式或介詞 for 短語(yǔ)連用。例如：

　　We bought it especially for you. 這是我們特意為你買(mǎi)的。

　　The book is written especially for children. 這本書(shū)是專(zhuān)門(mén)為孩子們寫(xiě)的。

　�。�3）表示陳述某一事實(shí)之后，列舉一個(gè)具有代表性的例子，作進(jìn)一步強調，其后可接名詞、介詞短語(yǔ)、從句等。例如：

　　This street is very crowd, especially on Sundays.

　　這條街很擁擠，尤其是星期天。

　　We want to invite some friends, especially Jim and John.

　　我們想邀請幾個(gè)朋友，尤其是吉姆和約翰。

　　句式精講

　　1. I like music that I can dance to.

　　Ilike music that I can dance to.為含有定語(yǔ)從句的復合句，that I can dance to為定語(yǔ)從句，修飾先行詞music，that為關(guān)系代詞，在定語(yǔ)從句中作主語(yǔ)。

　　在復合句中，修飾某一名詞或代詞的從句叫做定語(yǔ)從句。被定語(yǔ)從句修飾的詞叫做先行詞。定語(yǔ)從句必須放在先行詞之后。引導定語(yǔ)從句的關(guān)聯(lián)詞有關(guān)系代詞that，who，which等和 關(guān)系副詞when，where，why等，且定語(yǔ)從句的關(guān)聯(lián)詞在從句中充當一定的成分，從句中 謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài)及單復數要和它所修飾的先行詞保持一致。

　　This is the present that he gave me for my birthday.

　　這是他給我的生日禮物。

　　Do you know everybody who came to the party?

　　你認識來(lái)宴會(huì )的每一位嗎？

　　I still remember the night when I first came to the village.
