一.形容詞、副詞的比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)構(gòu)成：

1．單音節(jié)詞和少數(shù)雙音節(jié)詞的比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)的構(gòu)成

3．有幾個(gè)形容詞、副詞的比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)屬于不規(guī)則變化：

二.形容詞、副詞比較級(jí)的用法

1.形容詞的比較級(jí)可以單獨(dú)使用：

Be more careful next time.下次小心點(diǎn)。

Which book is better? 哪本書(shū)更好?

2.也可以和than連用，表示兩者相比，than后可以跟：

a. 名詞或代詞：

He is older than me / I .

他年齡比我大。

b. 動(dòng)名詞：

Skiing is more exciting than skating.

滑雪比滑冰更刺激。

c. 從句：

I was a better singer than he was.

我唱歌比他好。

句型1：as+形容詞原形+as

This jacket is as beautiful as that one.

句型2. not as+形容詞原形+as=not so+形容詞原形+as

前者不及/不如后者

This school is not as beautiful as that one.

表達(dá)前者不如后者還可以用：less +原級(jí)+than

This school is less beautiful than that one。

句型3 ：1)表示“是......的幾倍時(shí)” ......倍數(shù)+as 原級(jí)as.......

This garden is ten times as large as that one。

這個(gè)花園是那個(gè)的九倍大。

倍數(shù)的表達(dá)：once ; twice ; three times; four times.......

2)表示“比...多幾倍” 倍數(shù) + 比較級(jí)+than ....

His garden is 9 times larger than that one.

他的花園比那個(gè)大九倍。

句型4 ：比較級(jí)+than any other+單數(shù)名詞

“比其他的任何一個(gè)...”

He is taller than any other boy in his class.

句型5 ：the +比較級(jí)+of the two…(the twins.) “兩個(gè)中較....” Amy is the shorter of the two girls.

句型6 ：(單音節(jié))比較級(jí) + and + 比較級(jí)”

(多音節(jié))“more and more +原級(jí)”，越來(lái)越……

better and better

fatter and fatter

more and more beautiful

句型7 ：the 比較級(jí)+句子， the 比較級(jí)+句子

越……，越……。

The harder you study, the better grades you will get.

注意：比較級(jí)前還可加其他表示數(shù)量的詞：

My sister is ten years younger than me. 我妹妹比我小十歲。

三. 形容詞、副詞比較級(jí)的修飾語(yǔ)

修飾形容詞,副詞比較級(jí)的常用修飾詞有:no, a little, a bit, much, even, still, a lot, any等.

只用于修飾比較級(jí)的：much; still; even

在否定句,疑問(wèn)句或條件狀語(yǔ)從句中,修飾形容詞,副詞的比較級(jí),只能用any來(lái)修飾.

He can't jump any higher.

他不能跳得更高了.

Can he jump any higher?

他能跳得更高一些嗎?

Do you feel any better today?

你今天感覺(jué)好一點(diǎn)了嗎?

If you can jump any higher, I will give you a prize.

如果你能跳得更高些,我就獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)你.

四.最高級(jí)的使用

(三者或三者以上) 形容詞的最高級(jí)要加定冠詞the , 副詞最高級(jí)可省略the,

句型1：the+最高級(jí)+ of /in

a. in 表示

“在…內(nèi)(指某范圍內(nèi))” 可以跟表示單位,組織,時(shí)間等單數(shù)名詞.

My mother is the busiest in my family

b. of表示屬性(指在同類的人,物中)后可接

Jim works hardest of us all. Of the mountains , this is the highest.

句型2 ：One of+the+最高級(jí)+名詞復(fù)數(shù) “最……的……之一”

One of the most important languages is English.

最重要的語(yǔ)言之一是英語(yǔ)。

句型3 the+序數(shù)詞+最高級(jí)+單數(shù)名詞+in短語(yǔ) “

在……中是第幾個(gè)……”

The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.

比較級(jí)中為了避免重復(fù)，常用one/that/those替代名詞。往往指與前面同類而不是同一個(gè)的事物。

This pen is shorter than that one.

The weather here is much hotter than that of Shanghai.

The cars made in Tianjin is much more popular than those in Shanghai.
