puton在本課中意為“增加（體重）；發(fā)胖”。例如：

【拓展】puton的其他用法：
(1)意為“穿上；戴上”。例如：
It’smuchtoocoldoutside.Youshouldputonyourcoat.外面太冷了，你應該穿上外套。
Sheputonhercoatandwentout.她穿上大衣出去了。
(2)意為“上演；舉辦”。例如：
ThebandishopingtoputonaUKshowbeforetheendoftheyear.

10.wish/hope
(1)相同點(diǎn)：表示“想；希望”，賓語(yǔ)可為todo,不能用doing。例如：
Ihope/wishtovisitGuilin.我希望去桂林觀(guān)光。
(2)不同點(diǎn)：wish后可以跟復合賓語(yǔ)，即wishsb.todosth.，而hope不能。例如：
Iwishyoutogo.(正)我希望你去。
Ihopeyoutogo.(誤)我希望你去。
(3)兩者都可接that從句，但是“hope+that從句”表示希望，“wish+that從句”表示愿望，且從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞要用虛擬語(yǔ)氣。例如：
Ihopeyou’llbebettersoon.我希望你很快好起來(lái)。
IwishIwerereallywealthy.但愿我真的富有。
(4)wish后可接雙賓語(yǔ)。例如：
WewishyouahappyNewYear!我們祝你新年快樂(lè )！
