讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
連詞有：although/ though, even if/ even though, however, whatever,… wh-ever.
(1) although/though引導的讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
although和though，都作"雖然;盡管"解，通�？梢該Q用，although的語(yǔ)氣較重。如果要強調"但是"語(yǔ)氣，可使用yet，still或nevertheless來(lái)表示"但是"、"依然"或"然而"之意，但是不能與but連用。
Although they have been talking for a long time, he cannot make her believe him.

雖然和她談了半天，他還是不能讓她信任自己。
The text is few new words, but the students can't understand.

這課文幾乎沒(méi)有新單詞，但是學(xué)生們不能理解。
(2) even if引導的讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
even if "即使，縱然"，從句表示的是尚未發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或存在的情況。如：
Even if it rains tomorrow，_______________________________________________.
即使明天下雨，我們也不改變計劃。
Even if I failed again, I will not _____________ the experiment.
即使我再次失敗，我也不會(huì )放棄實(shí)驗。
(3) even though引導的讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
even though"雖然，盡管"，從句所表示的是已經(jīng)發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或存在的情況，通�？梢院蚢lthough/though換用。如：
Even though I didn't understand a word，I kept smiling.
即使我一個(gè)字也不懂，我還是保持微笑。
Even though you say so，I do not believe it.
即使你這樣說(shuō)，我也不信。
(4) whatever/no matter what引導的讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
Whatever等于no matter what，用法相同，都作"無(wú)論什么"解，后者多用于非正式文體。如：
Whatever/No matter what he says，don't go.
不管他說(shuō)什么，你都不要走。
We are determined to fulfill the task，___________________________________________.
不管發(fā)生什么了，我們決心完成任務(wù)。
(5) whichever/no matter which引導的讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
whichever和no matter which用法相同，都作"無(wú)論哪個(gè)"解，后者多用于非正式文體。如：
______________________________ you buy， there is a six-month guarantee.
不論你買(mǎi)哪個(gè)，都有六個(gè)月的保修期。
(6) whoever/no matter who引導的讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
whoever和no matter who用法相同，都作"無(wú)論誰(shuí)"解，后者多用于非正式文體。如：
You can't come in， ___________________________________.
不管你是誰(shuí)，都不能進(jìn)來(lái)。
No matter who wants to speak to me on the phone, tell him I'm busy.
= ___________________________________________________________.
不管誰(shuí)要我接電話(huà)， 就說(shuō)我現在正忙著(zhù)呢。
(7 wherever/no matter where引導的讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
wherever和no matter where用法相同，都作"無(wú)論在(或到)哪里"解，后者多用于非正式文體。如：
Wherever you go, I'm right here waiting for you.

無(wú)論你到哪里，我都依然在這里等著(zhù)你。
(8) however/no matter how引導的讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
however和no matter how用法相同，都作"無(wú)論如何……"解，后者多用于非正式文體。
However much you regret doing that， there is nothing you can do about it now.
無(wú)論你可能多么懊悔你曾經(jīng)做過(guò)的事，現在也無(wú)濟于事了。
______________ it may be，it can't reach the sky.
它不論有多高，也高不到天上去。
(9) whenever/no matter when引導的讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
whenever和no matter when用法相同，都作"無(wú)論何時(shí)"解，后者多用于非正式文體。如：
____________ I'm unhappy，he cheers me up.
每當我不高興時(shí)，他就給我鼓勁兒。
