　　它是一部如此有興趣的電影以至于我們都喜歡它。

　　He had such long arms that he could almost touch his knees.

　　他的胳膊很長(cháng)，幾乎就能夠到他的膝蓋。

　　【注意】

　　如果名詞前的形容詞是表示數量的few、little、many、much仍要用so修飾。例如：

　　There are so many people in the room that we could not get in.

　　房間里那么多的人，我們都進(jìn)不去。

　　【拓展】

　　so that意思是“以便于、為了”，引導表示目的的狀語(yǔ)從句。例如：

　　We got up early this morning so that we can catch the first bus.

　　我們今天早上起床很早是為了能趕上第一班公共汽車(chē)。

　　5. As I was waitingin line with other office workers, I heard…

　　as是連詞，意為“當……時(shí)候”，引導時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句，強調兩個(gè)動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生；或某事發(fā)生的過(guò)程中另一件事發(fā)生；或某事一發(fā)生，另一件事立即發(fā)生。例如：

　　We walked into the garden as the music stopped.

　　音樂(lè )聲一停，我們就走進(jìn)了花園。

　　【拓展】

　　as的用法頗多，現將所學(xué)的其他用法歸納如下：

　　(1) as作連詞：

　　1) “像……一樣、如……”，常用于比較狀語(yǔ)從句或方式狀語(yǔ)從句。例如：

　　I can’t run as fast as I used to. 我跑得不如過(guò)去那樣快。

　　You must do everything as I do. 你必須按照我做的那樣去做每件事。

　　2) “因為，既然”，引導原因狀語(yǔ)從句。例如：

　　As we are both tired, let’s stop to have a rest.

　　既然我們都累了，讓我們停下來(lái)休息會(huì )吧。

　　3) “正如，照……方法”，常引導非限制性定語(yǔ)從句。例如：

　　As we all know, the earth travels around the sun.

　　眾所周知，地球繞著(zhù)太陽(yáng)轉。

　　(2)as作介詞，意為“好像；作為、當作”。例如：

　　I work in Beijing as a guider 我在北京當導游。
